Where do you deliver?
We deliver Australia wide. At this stage, we do not deliver internationally.

What is the currency used in prices displayed?
All prices are in Australian dollars.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We use PayPal which is a faster, safer way to pay online without sharing financial details. You don’t have to have a PayPal account to make your purchase through our website. You just need a valid credit card and your payment will be processed through PayPal as a guest transaction.

How do I know if you have received my order?
Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt.

Is delivery included in the price of the gift?
The cost of delivery is not included in the price of the gift. To find out the cost, simply add the item/s you wish to purchase to your shopping basket and then add the delivery address. The delivery quote will be shown to you before you place the order.

When will my gift be delivered?
All orders will be processed and dispatched on the morning of the next business day. The gift will be delivered to your recipient during the estimated transit time for the destination as per below:

Please note that:

  • The above denote business days.
  • Deliveries cannot be made on the weekend or on public holidays.
  • We do not deliver to PO Boxes.

The Book Bug uses a reputable courier company for the delivery of all gift hampers to ensure the timely and safe arrival of your gift, however, there may be some circumstances beyond our control which prevent delivery in the above time frames.

If your gift is being delivered to a hospital, then please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the recipient will still be there within the delivery time frame. The Book Bug is not responsible if the patient checks out early.

How do I know if my gift has been delivered?
All parcels are barcode tracked and signed for to ensure safe delivery. Please contact us after the expiration of the estimated delivery time above and we can track your order for you. Please note it is your responsibility to inform us if an order has not arrived. We will then track and locate the order.

What happens if the recipient is not at the address when the gift is delivered?
The courier will leave a calling card at the destination allowing the recipient to arrange a suitable alternative day for delivery.

What if I provide an incorrect delivery address?
Please ensure that the correct address is provided at the time of purchase because The Book Bug does not accept responsibility for any errors in delivery addresses. A re-delivery fee will be charged if we need to re-deliver the book hamper to another address.

What is your Refund Policy?
We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

What if an item is damaged during transit?
All of our hampers are packaged in our signature sturdy and rigid gift boxes which are then placed in a strong carton box to ensure all items stay safe and dry during delivery. However, in the unlikely event that an item is damaged during transit, then please contact us as soon as possible and we will organise a replacement of the damaged item.
